The Rummage Sale and Bake Sale happens in conjunction with the Arts and Crafts Festival in Richfield each September. Furniture, clothes, decorations, books and cookware are just a few of the treasures. Homemade baked goods are also available.
Each December the Women's Guild hosts a breakfast as a community
service to families in the Richfield area. Children are welcome to come
meet Santa, breakfast is served and a banquet of homemade treats are
available for purchase. All of this is provided at a very reasonable price.
Each year St. Jacobi participates in Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes! The mission of Samaritan's Purse project Operation Christmas Child is to reach out to world children who are affected by war, poverty, disease, natural disasters and to children living on Native American reservations. Our sharing of the shoebox gifts demonstrates God's love in a tangible way.
St. Jacobi participates in Gingerbread House, an organization that provides Christmas gifts for families in need.
Children are welcome to meet the Easter bunny for a picture
and to indulge in All You Can Eat pancakes! It is a celebration
of the Easter Season!
Confirmation is offered to 7th, 8th and 9th grade students. The instruction involves lessons about history, scripture, worship, theology, the preparation of a statement of faith, and service. These elements prepare the young people of our congregation to be active members in Christ's church.
For all God's Children: St. Jacobi offers an active learning environment for all of its attendees. We believe that there is always more to learn about God's action through creation.

Sunday school is held on the first three Sundays of every month during worship. Children 3 and older who are potty trained are welcome to participate in the activities. Instruction includes lessons and crafts that reflect our unique gift of Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior and teaches the children about worship and service. We also utilize short video lessons to provide children with a visual understanding of biblical stories. If you would like to sign-up your children, please contact Sunday School Director Julie Kluck at firstname.lastname@example.org . Please also consider signing up to serve as a substitute teacher, parent helper in the classroom, help plan activities/lessons, or provide snacks. We would love to have you join us! Contact Julie for more details.
On the last Sunday of the month, the children are invited to join the adults for All-Family Worship in the sanctuary. All-Family Worship includes a children's message, kid-friendly worship songs/hymns, lessons and prayers, as well as our monthly Communion (children may receive Communion at the discretion of their families). Following All-Family Worship, everyone is invited to join us downstairs for our Monthly Fellowship. We hope you can join us!
